Earlier this year, we announced that we joined AllerVie Health and would be coming together with another local practice in the AllerVie Health network, Allergy & Asthma Care of Florida.  

Coming this April, we will begin providing our services under our new partner’s name, Allergy & Asthma Care of Florida. We are excited for the opportunity to leverage this brand and its resources to expand services, increase access to care, and bring you the latest advances in allergy, asthma, immunology, and clinical research.  

When both of our practices finish coming together, we will have three total clinic locations where you can continue to receive care – 1 in Ocala and 2 in The Villages. Effective April 3, you will be able to visit our Ocala location as well!

You’ll Be Re-Established as A New Patient

As part of this transformation, we will need to onboard all existing patients and re-establish you as a new patient under Allergy & Asthma Care of Florida’s systems, protocols, and clinical guidance. 

New Insurance Coverage 

We are committed to making our best-in-class, patient-focused services widely available to those who suffer from allergies, asthma, and related immunological disorders. Allergy & Asthma Care of Florida accepts a comprehensive list of insurance providers, including Aetna, Cigna, Florida Blue, Humana, Medicare, and UHC. Please contact your local clinic to find out if we accept your insurance carrier. As always, we are available to assist with Financial Counseling and Insurance Verification prior to your visit. 

NOTE: Most insurance policies do not require a referral to see an allergy specialist. However, if the patient’s insurance does require a referral to see a specialist, this should be included with the referral when referring the patient. 

Changes To Our Billing/Accounts Services 

For clinic visits and services prior to April 3, all billing and patient account questions will be coordinated by contacting your local clinic directly.

For clinic visits and services after April 3, all billing and patient account questions will be coordinated through our new billing partner. You will be able to pay your bill online or reach them by phone at 866.236.5732.

This new billing phone number and online payment link will be updated on your billing statements, website, and more, for convenient access and quick reference. This dedicated billing team will allow us to better serve you now and in the future. You may call them directly with all billing-related questions and support: 

• Questions about your billing statements 
• Pay your bill over the phone 
• Set up payment plans
